A Reunion in Union Square

For the first time, the joint opening event of the Honors Program departed from the essential awkwardness that embodies much of the night, and included on the program a trip to Robert Walden's "The Quarrel," followed by a discussion with the director, playwrights, and actors.

Broken Dawn

"Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer, the fourth and final book in the overwhelmingly popular young adult series The Twilight Saga, was released on August 2nd, with the usual fanfare and fuss with which highly anticipated books have come to be associated. Most major bookstores had midnight release parties, special Twilight concerts were held in various locations, and Godiva released a unique Twilight chocolate to celebrate.

SCDS Talent Show A Success

On Wednesday evening, September 24th, the Stern College Dramatic Society presented its first ever annual talent show. Taking place in Koch Auditorium, the unprecedented production proved to be a surprising success, filling a niche that has been lacking in Stern until now.

The Persistence of Dali

From June 29th to September 15th, the MoMA exhibited a special showing of original Salvador Dali pieces. With a special focus on Dali's art as it relates to film, the exhibit interspersed paintings with films and murals designed by Dali as movie backdrops.
